Modern Mrs. Darcy
The Modern Mrs. Darcy Reading Challenge includes ten categories that will challenge me to read more broadly.
Audiobook Challenge
The Audiobook Challenge is hosted by Hot Listens and Caffeinated Reviewer. The goal of this challenge is to find a new love for audiobooks and to listen to more audiobooks than the previous year.
My goal is to listen to 5-10 audiobooks for the Weekend Warrior level.
2020 Discussion Challenge
The book blog discussion challenge is hosted by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction and Shannon @ It Starts at Midnight. Many of us mean to post more discussions but don’t get around to doing it. The goal of this challenge is to motivate bloggers to post these discussions and to visit each other’s posts. #LetsDiscuss2020
My goal is to write at 1-2 discussion posts a month to reach the Creative Conversationalist level.
Library Love Challenge
The Library Love Challenge is hosted by Angel’s Guilty Pleasures & Books of My Heart. The goal of this challenge is to help readers save money and support their local libraries. #LibraryLoveChallenge
My goal is to read 36 books from my library, which will place me at the Overdrive Junkie level.
r/Fantasy Bingo
I want to read more diverse fantasy books, so I’m joining the r/Fantasy Bingo Challenge, which started in April 2019 and ends in March 2020. Quite a few of my books read checked off, so I have a good chance of completing the 2019 challenge.
Chat With Me
What reading challenges will you be joining in 2020? Do we have any in common? What are some books that you recommend for these challenges?

Mrs. Darcy looks fun. I am a fan of prompt challenges. I think this is my 3rd year doing the discussion challenge. It’s a good, because it keeps me on my toes.
Crystal says
I agree. The discussion challenge is a great one. The others are mostly about marking items off a check list, but this one creates engagement, both on my blog and on other blogs.

I love doing reading challenges and seeing what challenges others are doing. 🙂
You picked some good ones, Crystal. The Modern Mrs. Darcy will give you some stiff competition as will your variety fantasy. I’m doing the audio and Library Love ones, too. Good for you to have the goal of doing more discussion posts.
Cheering you on!
Crystal says
Thanks, Sophia! Best of wishes with your challenges as well!

I love challenges, especially Nicole and Shannon’s discussion challenge. And I’m going to go for broke this year too. But I’m not going to be keeping track on the blog. It’s one of the ways the tablet challenges me too much. So I’m keeping linking and transient stuff on social media. It makes me sad but also has made it possible for me to keep blogging. I hope you’re able to keep on top of your challenges this year. 👍🏻

I’ve been bad about posting challenge updates on the blog. I do keep a running list (of everything except discussion posts) in my BuJo though. It’s good to hear that you’re making changes to keep blogging viable for you! I look continuing to read your discussions in the new year!
Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction says
So glad you’re joining us for the Discussion Challenge again in 2020! Good luck with all your challenges!
Crystal says
Thanks, Nicole! I look forward to participating again in 2020!

I’ve not met my goal two years in a row on that discussion challenge. I really need to do better in 2020.. Good luck with all of your challenges!
Crystal says
Thanks, Suzanne! I don’t usually meet my goals for all of my challenges, but they do encourage me to do more than I would without them!

I’m always signing up for the Discussion challenge and then not really doing discussions. lol I need to do better next year, because I do love discussion posts.

Same here. I did start discussing more on the blog this year, so that’s a plus!
